We are involved in landcare, conservation and rehabilitation work. We run some exciting educational programs all-year-round.. We are community-driven, we have fantastic community outreach. And, we are pioneers in wetland management.
Our in-house nursery and Seed Propagation Areas (SPAs) are our pride and joy. Get some action when you join us on Thursdays and Fridays. We start early, at 9 am, and you can work for as long as you want until the close of the day at 4 pm. We have an array of weed control measures that we undertake. Or, you could participate in the nursery, where we nurture native flora.

At The Wetlands Centre, we collaborate with many agencies and organisation in our wetland work. We partner with organisations that share, not just our precinct, but also our values, passion and dedication to the environment and sustainability.
Wetlands are an essential component of our future. At The Wetlands Centre, we aspire to achieve sustainability in all our endeavours. Towards this, we have adopted sustainability as one of our core values.
One of our primary functions and why we were established, was to be a source of information and education about wetlands and their role and importance to our environment and our planet. We aim to make our learning and resources available to the community openly. A good place to start would be our blogs, which provide numerous insights into the wetlands and the work we do.
