The HOME Program is a joyful, family-centred invitation to slow down and reconnect through nature, culture and creativity at Bibra Lake. Designed for children of all ages and their parents or carers, these gentle, playful sessions blend outdoor discovery with making, movement and storytelling in a warm, inclusive space where curiosity leads the way. Come for a single session or journey across the term. You’ll leave with muddy shoes, bright ideas.

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to leave your screens behind and come play together in the natural environment the way we humans were always meant too – as our Noongar Elders tell and show us!

Come HOME to the Wetlands!

Produced by Rachel Riggs from Imaginary Leaps, in collaboration with The Wetlands Centre.

This program is an artist-led initiative and supports local artists within the community.

About The HOME Program

Come home to the wetlands: family nature-arts experiences at Bibra Lake

The HOME Program is a year-long series of inclusive, nature-based arts experiences for families and children at Bibra Lake. The program brings together nature play, Noongar culture and storytelling, creativity, making and play to help families connect with Country, the wetlands and each other.

The HOME Program includes weekly workshops, after-school activities and interactive family sessions created with local WA artists. The program supports children’s wellbeing by helping them feel at home with nature, while building creativity, confidence and connection.
