Every school holiday season, there are heaps of interesting and fun activities happening at the Centre to keep the kids busy and give the parents a rest too. Kids of all ages engage and enjoy themselves while being cared for in a safe, friendly, and nurturing environment. They are introduced to the wetlands and wetland critters with walks on nature trails, storytelling, crafting, and educational and creative activities.

September - October 2025 Program
Date: Saturday, the 27th of September 2025
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Price: $15 kids, $10 adults, $55 family (2 adults and up to 3 children)
What to bring:
- Water bottle
- Comfortable clothing
- Wear closed-in shoes

Discover the Bibra Lake Tree Trail
Step onto the Bibra Lake Tree Trail—a self-guided walking experience through the heart of the Beeliar Wetlands. Winding through Tuart woodlands, paperbark groves, and wetlands alive with bird song, this tranquil trail invites you to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with the living landscape.
Along the way, you’ll encounter over 25 native tree species, each with a story to tell—about Noongar culture, seasonal rhythms, bushland ecology, and resilience in the face of change. Interpretive signs offer insights into these remarkable trees and their place in the Bibra Lake ecosystem.
Whether you’re a curious wanderer, a family with kids, or a keen nature observer, the Tree Trail offers a gentle adventure through Country—layered with knowledge, memory, and connection.
